“I am an active duty Navy Mom that, with all my heart, would love to homeschool my girls; but as expected, time is not on my side. My youngest (5 yrs – kindergarten) is struggling with her ABC’s and 123′s. I’ve tried to do creative games at home, like creating a fillable chart for both numbers and letters (this allows her to see patterns in the numbers). For the alphabet, I’ve created a Twister game utilizing letters.
Since adding these items and a few more, I’ve seen improvements (not to the level or speed her school would like), and I’m just looking for more ideas.”
